Mr. Rasgado, is the principal owner of Applied Geomatics and Land Surveys (AGLSurveys), which is based out of Hilo, Hawaii. He is also the Vice President of Pacific Sales for Global BPM Solutions, a company that specializes in developing Administration Software for Business Management & Administration.
A veteran of the U.S, Army, Mr. Rasgado lived on the Central Coast of California with his wife Laura and their four children Victor Jr., Franco, Grace, and Fredrico until December of 2012, when he moved to Hawaii to pursue his passion for teaching.
With over 25 years of experience in the GeoSpatial profession, Mr. Rasgado has always strived to incorporate all facets of CAD Mapping, Geomatics, and Land Surveying into his class room lectures and business work flow and has professional working knowledge of Land Surveying, GPS Technologies, GIS Mapping, and 3D Modeling.
His experience and knowledge of GPS Control Networks and Surveys for Aerial Drones, 3D Laser Scanning and large scale land development and construction has enabled Mr. Rasgado and his team to work in various industries such as Department of Transportation, Education, Land Development, Public Works & Infrastructure, and Oil & Gas.
Mr. Rasgado’s work on boundary resolutions includes Metes and Bound legal descriptions and interpretation, Sectionalized Land breakdowns, Spanish Land Grants establishment, and Lot and Block surveys. Mr. Rasgado and his team have also worked on the preparation of parcel maps, final maps, records of survey, topographic maps, ALTA maps, and the management of construction surveys.
